For reasons that may go back to our childhoods, or even back to generations before we were born, reasons that may have to do with generational traumas, ongoing oppression, genetic expression and epigenetics, and maybe even physics laws, both Newtonian and quantum, that predict balance and conservation of forces, we can find ourselves in relationship dynamics that cause anxiety, insecurity, overwhelm, confusion, depression, and many more stressors that impact not just our connection but our whole lives. Yet, just naming more of these dynamics can bring a kind of relief in starting to have compassion for what we're up against and the beginning of a map to get out of the traps we fall into. What are you seeing, naming, and mapping in some of your relationship patterns? [image description: Two hearts lovingly embrace with a passionate kiss. One heart sees itself in its thoughts as triumphant in the connection, pumping a fist with a joyful facial expression, while the other hearts sees itself in its thoughts as unsure about the connection, scratching its head and pointing to itself with a doubtful facial expression. Text reads, "I struggle to trust that you want to be with me."]
