We may not think of anger and other intense emotions as beautiful parts of ourselves. We may consider some sensations and thoughts as corrosive and worthy of expunging from our systems. And perhaps we rightly want to change the ways that certain energies flow through us in order to make our actions softer, more flexible, more just, or more internally congruent. But when we try to push parts of ourselves out before they are ready to transform within, we may be throwing away or strangling our capacities for boldness, protection, and taking a stand for ourselves and for others. What's one way that you cultivate anger in the garden of your soul?
