After a big experience, integrating what happened can go in lots of different directions. Sometimes we fall into old thought patterns. We may find ourselves caught in the space that comes after looking backward, wishing it wasn't over, and trying to return to where we were. Sometimes we take action to make an internal change. We may also find ourselves rushing to leave the moments after the experience behind and move on to the next experience before we've had a chance to feel the richness in that post hoc space.
