ART!
I love making art. It is a refuge for me. I think that's why I keep making up new art projects that are all always somewhere in process. Here are some of the other art things that I have worked on or am currently working on. (Yes, I own a lot of urls.) ~Anna

Around 2007 I began drawing a cartoon blog and sharing it on the web at newpolyanna.com. The drawings were different every time I posted and I never found a regular stride with them. I did get a lot out of making art about my process in finding my identity as polyamorous, and am endlessly grateful to the people who followed that cartoon and commented and supported me, including my partners. |

Along with cartooning about matters of the heart, I have been making things with my hands my whole life. I love to draw and paint, take photographs, and crochet and stitch. I inherited a love of pyrography, writing with fire, from my bestemor, my mother's mother. After years of evolving into my own style of woodburning, I have landed most confidently on jewelry making. |
Meet Me in the Margin
I have turned my attention in no small part to a project that is one of the best things I've worked on yet — helping my mother tell the story of her life. An adventure in homegrown oral history making, Meet Me in the Margin will take the reader on a ride through radicalized Norwegian, American, disabled, mentally ill, queer, polyamorous, interfaith, and intergenerational landscapes, weaving together stories of love and transformation between worlds and across psyches. You can join the fun at MeetMeInTheMargin.com. I am so excited to be on this journey with my mother, and I'm excited for you to come along with us, too. |
